Overview

Congratulations, now that you’re a member of CCCOER and OEGlobal you are a part of a community of practice that will help you grow your understanding of OER, even as you help us to grow our knowledge. You may be asking yourself: How do I get the most out of our membership? How can others at my college participate? This toolkit is all about helping you understand our community of practice and how to participate and contribute as desired.

Online Members Meetings

  • Quarterly members-only meetings
    • These are generally held in January, April, June, and September. Announcements of these dates are sent out a few months before on the CCCOER-Members email list. Consortium activities, internal survey data, and upcoming collaborative projects are generally the topics for these meetings.
  • Special topic meetings convened periodically throughout the year
    • In early December we have an annual New Member Mixer. This is an opportunity for new members to introduce themselves to the community and share challenges that they are facing in growing their open education initiatives.

Visit our Members Activities page to view video and slides from all of our members’-only meetings. Upcoming events will be added to the CCCOER Members’ Calendar as they are announced.
